Shernelle Bovell is a professional singer and entertainer who began her career on the gospel stage singing for various churches in her native Barbados.

While working as a Water-sports Operator at Almond beach Resort she started performing with the Almond Beach Band and quickly stood out in the group for her vocal prowess, charming personality and great interaction with her audiences. Shortly afterwards she created the band “Just Human” which performed at many hotels on the island and especially at Mango Bay Beach Resort. During the period 2000 – 2005 she performed on the Norwegian Cruise Line followed by performances on Greek ferries. In 2018 Shernelle created yet another band, “Timeless”, which performed on cruise ships and currently performs at the Sandals Resort in Barbados.

Shernelle continues her solo career in entertainment by performing at several hotels and restaurants in Barbados including the Sandals Resort and the Savannah and Coral Reef hotels. She performs twice weekly at My Friends Place in St. Lawrence Gap. During the tourist season, she performs to sold-out audiences, such as her appeal to people who come from all corners of the world to enjoy her dynamic performances.
